DevOps Engineer
Job Responsibilities :
- Automate deployment of large-scale decentralized networks
- Standardize release and configuration management processes for decentralized applications
- Configure decentralized applications
- Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools
Essential Skills :
- B Tech/M Tech/BE/MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Overall experience in the range of 3+ years
- Deep understanding and experience of deployments on Linux Operating System (Ubuntu)
- Experience in Continuous Integration specifically TeamCity, Jenkins etc.; Code Quality SonarQube
Scripting - Unix Shell scripting; Package Repository - Artifactory, GitHub
Packages :
- Experience in Git based Configuration Management of source code
- Knowledge of build tools such as Gradle or Maven
- Application Server Platform experience - Spring Boot, Tomcat, JBoss etc
- Web Server: Apache / NGINX
- Project Management & Tracking Tool Experience - JIRA
Fits well with the team in a tech start up working in a niche technology
Desirable Skills :
- Experience in Containerization Technology platforms - Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in creation of ARM (Azure Resource Manager) Templates on Azure
- Knowledge of Javascript Framework deployment such as Meteor, React
- Office 365 and/or Exchange Admin Experience
- Microsoft Teams Experience
- Exposure to Blockchain or DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) platforms - R3 Corda, Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum or Quorum
- Experience in Cloud Platforms Management on Azure and AWS; Provisioning Virtual Machines, Managing Storage, Routing, Setting up Proxy Servers such as Apache, Nginx, Deployment Automation; Monitoring - Prometheus, Grafana; Log Management - EL; NoSQL document-based databases such as MongoDB.
- Some experience in mobile app deployment
