JOB Description

- Good understanding of Cloud infrastructure offerings: Consulting, transformation, consolidation, migration, server virtualization, storage consolidation, network and security, Disaster recovery processes.

- In depth knowledge of key AWS services AWS EC2, ECS, Auto Scaling, CDN, VPC, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, subletting, S3 Storage, EFS, RDS, SES, Route 53, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail etc

- strong working experience on IaC tool - AWS CloudFormation/Terraform.

- Experience on Migration services like DMS, SMS, Cloud Endure, Azure Site recovery

- Experience over AWS security services like IAM, GaurdDuaty, Inspector, KMS

- Knowledge on Docker and containers.

- Proven experience assessing clients workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap

- Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint

- Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers etc.,) and mentor team to build necessary competency.

- Experience to build scalable production systems (load balancers, mem cached, master/slave architectures)

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

- Responsible for translating customer requirements into consistent, compliant, value-added solutions, creating associated cost models and associated proposal documentation, managing due diligence and assisting in contract negotiations, as needed.

- Ability to assess the current IT environment and be able to provide appropriate technical solutions to address business challenges related to public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid set up.

- Architect/re-architect, Design/re-design, Expand/Migrate Customer Data Centers and prepare related Application Architecture/Design/Migration Documents

- Should have Consulting/architect exposure/understanding on Converged, hyper converged, SDDC, and Public cloud based opportunities.

- Actively participate as a specialist on assigned / Virtual Team(s) and/or Solutions Team(s). Thorough competitive knowledge on on-Prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure including solution, technology and product offerings.

- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team. Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills. Ability to train and disseminate information within an Area or Operation.

- Hands-on experience with designing and implementing secure Azure Hybrid cloud Infrastructure along with IAM integration and practices like Azure Active Directory, Local Active Directory, ADFS, AD connect, MFA Server, Azure MFA, RBAC, Conditional Access, Office 365, Exchange server, Monitoring frameworks etc.

- Migration of on premise physical server, virtual servers and applications on to MS Azure.

- Implementation of Azure resources using ARM Templates and DevOps tools (VSTS).

Technical Skills & Certifications :

- Should have good understanding on virtualization technologies (ESXi, Hyper-V, Xen Servers, storage virtualization). Understanding of network virtualization (SDN, NSX etc) is a plus

- Should be certified as Solution Architect in AWS or Azure or any one.

- Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads

- Understand and document technical requirements from clients

- Define Migration strategy to move application to cloud

- Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc

- Design the AWS/ Azure network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets

- Design the HA / DR strategies

- Set up process, services and tools around cloud

- Oversee build of the environment

- Execute migration plan

- Leverage appropriate AWS/ Azure services

- Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls

- Exposure to Migration processes and one or more migration tools: Scoping(Cloud Endure, Cloud Physics, VRNI, Application discovery service, Solarwind etc0, Migration(vConverter, Platespin, Velostrata, Azure migration tool, AWS SMS/DMS, Azure migrate, Google VM Migration)

- Sound knowledge/Exposure to architectural based BCP Planning, Disaster recovery design/implementation using SRM, ASR and Cloud providers services

- Knowledge on different Operating systems (Installation, configuration, patch management, upgrade) & Databases (Structured, unstructured, graph etc).

- Consulting/Architect/Knowledge on Automation & operation (vRA,vRO)
