Job Title : Sr. Cloud Engineer (azure)

Experience : 3 - 9 Years

Job Location : Vadodara, Gujarat

1. Skills Required :

a. Mandatory Skills:

- ASP.Net (3.x and above) and MVC 4.0 or above

- SQL server

- WCF Service /WebAPI

- Web Apps

- Azure SQL

- Azure Virtual Network

- Azure PowerShell

- Azure Dev Ops

- Knowledge CI/CD

- Azure Active Directory

b. Beneficial Skills :

- Azure Functions

- DSC Desired State Configuration

- Docker

- Azure CLI

- Kubernetes

- Other Azure Services or AWS like EC2 and auto scaling

2. Key Responsibilities and Duties :

- Ensure project deliverables activities, including:

- Working experience on Azure and AWS cloud based application

- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL, should be able to troubleshoot single handily

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and its implementation

- Transitioning traditionally hosted applications into Azure in a cost effective manner with a mix of IaaS and PaaS

- Helping teams build CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops

- A firm commitment to keeping up-to-date with the latest Azure services and offerings and a desire to learn in an ever evolving landscape

- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

3. Essential Competencies:

- Technical knowledge of private, hybrid and public cloud designs, environments and infrastructure

- Demonstrable experience of working on small/medium infrastructure transformation projects and programmes

- Helping teams build CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops

- Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure solution design and implementation

- Active Directory and Cloud Active Directory including hybrid integration

- Design of service management and monitoring infrastructure

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Self-starter approach, highly motivated, highly organised

- Good understanding of Networking, Security, Storage and Identity Management

4. Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of High Availability, Geo-Resilience, Disaster Recovery or BCP

- Certifications in Office 365 and Azure would be advantageous

- Good analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment

- Strong focus on quality standards and code performance
