System Engineer - Active Directory/PowerShell (3-6 yrs) (CRESCENDO GLOBAL)

System engineer/Financial Services/3+ years

An exciting Active Directory Systems Engineer's primary role for supporton core technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange, JIRA, Confluence and Office 365 suite. The applicant is expected to be hands-on with the systems and individual tasks in support of the applications as needed while providing a vision and long-term strategy for the products and ecosystems under their management. He/She must possess proficient technical skills around the Linux and Windows operating system.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :

- Support Active Directory to ensure integrity and availability of systems, authentication and authorization services to internal and external customers.

- Support Exchange, Office 365 suite and related products.

- Proficient technical skills around the Linux and Windows operating system and PowerShell Scripting.

- Work with other systems engineers on the team in India and the US.

- Participate in on-call rotation for system support as needed.

- Ensure system updates and improvements are made during scheduled change windows and change.

REQUIREMENTS :

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

- 3 years or more of System Administration experience specifically with Active Directory and Domain Administration.

- Experience with Powershell scripting and Office 365 Administration is plus.

- Knowledge of networking, DNS, Exchange is preferred.

- Knowledge and experience of working with Monitoring agents and systems.

- Exceptional customer service, organization, interpersonal, time-management and written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with virtual machines (Windows Server, Redhat, Centos)
