Job Description :
- We are looking for Senior Engineer having minimum of 3+ years of experience and responsible for manage, maintain and support 24/7/365 (Rotation Shift).
- The core responsibilities include manage, administration, monitor & improve the application infrastructure, 24x7 Support, handling production releases, server & service uptime and resource optimization.
- You will also be responsible for integrating and migration application form Data Center to Cloud or vise versa.
- We're looking for someone good in Linux, windows server, Data Center and Cloud support expert. You will join a team of Remote infrastructure, where we provide end to end infrastructure solution to end customer for multiple application services.
Responsibilities :
- A detailed understanding of the common technologies found in enterprise IT environments including datacenter and Internet edge technologies
- Good Interpersonal Communication Skills and you are willing to work with remote teams.
- Efficient and Creative You should be able to think creatively to find the optimal solution to problems
- Analyzing complex and/or sensitive events detected in Cloud (AWS) environments
- Providing proactive & reactive technical support, second line phone/email consultation to independently debug complex product problems.
- Experience building and maintaining ITIL methodology- Contribute to documentation to build knowledge base
- Contribute to documentation to build knowledge base
- Provide 24X7 escalation support for all P1/P2 application related issues
- Ability to work independently, as the position only receives minimal supervision with no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments
Required Technical Skills :
- Must have hands on experience with AWS Cloud AWS and MS Azure
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (i.e. VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V) is added advantage
- Advanced scripting skills (i.e. bash shell, Perl, Python)
- Advanced experience with automation software (i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, Gitlab)
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related subject
- Working knowledge with Jira, Jenkins, GIT and Confluence will be an added advantage
Preferred Technical Skills (for more than 3 years) :
- Data Center administration and support
- Monitoring tool automation
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and/or AWS Solutions Architect Associate recommended or MS Azure Certifies
