IT Manager - Data Center Operations (9-18 yrs) (V Employment Solutions)

Role and Responsibilities :

Technical :

- Strong technical expertise on concepts Active Directory, DHCP and DNS servers, Symantec Antivirus management tool, Backup management tool and Patch Management tool

- Strong technical expertise on Exchange, Office 365 administration and Azure administration.

- Listing required Change and Review/Validate the Change done using Change management tool

- Responsible for providing level 4 Technical support for Server and Network issues.

- Responsible for staying current with advances in technology, new software applications and new hardware to serve as an advisor to management.

- Strong Windows Clustering knowledge, good understanding of enterprise server hardware from Dell, HP, Cisco.

- Strong technical expertise and hands-on support experience with Hyper V and ESX 5.0 and above.

- Solid working knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocol, routing principal and network security.

- Strong technical expertise on concepts like DHCP, DNS.

- Experience with host security (e.g. passwords, ACLs, file permission, file system integrity).

Functional Skills :

- Manage the team effectively, distribute and oversee work in progress

- Cultivate a work-friendly environment that fits the the companies and Client cultures

- Construct and conduct motivational programs for the team members

- Mentor team to improve overall productivity and quality and develop talents within the team to manage additional responsibility

- Interview/short list prospective candidates for recruitment

- Ensure team follows standards on ISMS and QMS

- Ensure accurate data capturing to facilitate timely weekly and monthly metrics reports

- Ensure reports are maintained and presented in the stipulated format

- Ensure distribution of production reports to Management as agreed

- Work on a one-on-one basis with AM's and team Leads to improve workflow SOPs, quality, skills and productivity of the team

- Schedule shifts and rotation to meet capacity commitments and headcount needs per shift

- Perform annual/bi-annual appraisals of the team and timely report to the manager

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Responsible for on-time delivery of metrics and reporting, including SRRs for all Technical Support related issues.

- Maintain SOP's and IT reports for internal and external audits.

- Participate in weekly Global IT meeting, to discuss any technical hurdles or any Improvement plan for current process.

- Provide detailed statistics on the performance of the team and provide solutions to better their performance.

- Complete any project assigned on time and without any supervision.

- Maintain over all IT Support SLAs and quality standards established by Global Integreon.

- Manage work of team members to create quality project deliverables.

- Responsible to act as the key contact person for management and employees regarding any Escalation

- High level of positive attitude

- Professional approach to problem solving

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

- Graduate or equivalent qualification required

- Having prior work experience (8+ years) in overall IT Infrastructure management.

- Should have prior (minimum 3-4 years) experience on managing data center operations

- Should have prior (minimum 2-3 years) experience on Team/Process management

- Should have experience in working on different types of reports.

- Certification in Microsoft/Cisco will be an added advantage

- Experience in working for ISMS and QMS documentation will be an added advantage
