Location : Bangalore (Koramangala), If candidates are from other location they should be willing to relocate to Bangalore.

Roles and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for VMWare and Windows/Linux Infrastructures for various customers, as per the scope of our contract
- All day-to-day management of the VMs including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, backup and recovery
- Good knowledge of VMware products: ESXi 5,6 & 6.5 vCenter 5, 6 & 6.5, vSAN, vCOPs, vROPs.
- Good knowledge of Hyper-V
- Extensive Knowledge of VMware CLI commands, troubleshooting skill set and VMware SRM
- Responsible for maintaining the virtual infrastructure operating systems, VMs on servers that support business-processing requirements.
- Help team to create RCA whether you have been involved directly or indirectly
- Creation of Virtual and physical infra documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation
- Extensive troubleshooting experience of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Good Knowledge of WSUS, SCCM, SCOM & SCVMM
- 24/7 support model
- Health check and improvement recommendations for existing Virtualization / Windows infra
- Additional duties as and when required, as per the organization requirement
Experience Requirements :
- All day-to-day management of the VMs including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, backup and recovery
- Maintaining the virtual infrastructure operating systems, VMs on servers that support business-processing requirements
- Maintain, upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMWare vCenter infrastructure & VMWare ESXi infrastructure. Including the ability to maintain vCenter appliance and working knowledge of Linux for troubleshooting purposes
- Maintain VM templates for building servers in the virtual environment
- Proactively monitor event logs for changes or errors and take appropriate actions to resolve issues
- Manage available virtual and storage resources within the infrastructure environment
- Troubleshooting of Clone & Snapshot of Production VMs related issues when required
- Collaborate with team members to resolve problems
- Hands-on experience on any storage enclosures & Patch management of the VMs
- Hands-on experience in updating/upgrading ESXi servers, Virtual Center servers and windows virtual machines using VMware Update manager and manual upgrades for Patching
- Experience in Windows clustering Administration, troubleshooting and Microsoft failover clustering manager
- DHCP, DNS troubleshooting
- Storage concept
- Backups tools like Veeam, HPE DataProtector, EMC Avamar/Networker
- Patching tools WSUS/SCCM
