Job Responsibilities and Requirements :
- The IT Manager/Systems Administrator role is a key position that manages all IT assets and onboarding while also taking the lead on managing all existing IT infrastructure.
- This includes managing IT assets such as computers, printers, cloud bases accounts, and software updates.
- This also included managing system logins, systems architecture, IT asset tracking, and sourcing new assets.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designers.
- Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills; Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customer data; Solves a range of straightforward problems; analyses possible solutions using standard procedures; Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
- Responsible for the deployment and integration of new technologies into existing business processes.
- Installs, operates, upgrades, and configures system hardware and software in Windows environment; to include : remote servers, desktops, laptops, printers, iPads, monitors, etc.
- Conducts basic systems performance analysis and tuning
- Assist/lead in implementing new software projects such as SSO, Active Directory, ERP, CRM, Web Portal Migration, etc.
- Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related
- Provides support for web/mail/database/file servers and laptop/desktop machines
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritising problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Creates and maintains programs for automating system administration
- Monitors and maintains system security and provides backup, protection, and recovery support
- Manages user accounts, third party licensing software, and assists Management and staff with specific software installations
- Collaborates on an on-going basis with the product owners and the development team.
