Job Description
You will be leading ERP application (Microsoft Dynamics AX upgrade to Dynamics 365). You would be responsible for upgrade of ERP system from AX 2012 to Dynamics 365, Roadmap building and delivering on behalf of the ERP team.
All the requirements to be gathered from respective stakeholders. Understand the business needs and plot requirements in system. Build architecture and best practices to be followed by ERP team. Resource management and allocation for Support activities & customizations.
Keeping track of operational activities. IRM and Security building from domain and application view. Overall strong understanding of integrations, migrations, optimization, upgrades, developments & deployments.
You will report into Financial Controller
Role Responsibilities :
- Work closely with Microsoft and our implementation partners to make a detailed plan for an upgrade to Dynamics 365.
- Take the team through the upgrade and deliver the upgraded system.
- Stabilize and optimize the system such that we reach a state where we are independent of the implementation partners.
- Work closely with engineering, user experience and quality assurance teams throughout development iterations in an agile environment.
- Analyze business processes, collect requirements, and provide solutions using Microsoft AX ERP systems.
- Work closely and manage stakeholders across the hierarchy.
- Work in coordination with external stakeholders like Microsoft, Licensing partners & Managed service partners.
- Perform system configuration, installation, data migration, integration, and testing
- Create detailed project plans, align stakeholders, and subsequently execute to them
- Create requirement and training documentation to provide user training and support for the ERP and various inhouse supply chain systems
- Coordinate with technical team on solution design, programming, and validation.
- Drive transparency, consensus, and closure towards all tasks you undertake.
Desired Skills and Competencies :
- Well versed in Finance.
- Well versed in ERP environment (Microsoft Dynamics AX & Dynamics 365)
- Well versed with MS Excel, Word, PPT.
- Knowledge of WMS is preferred or a strong will to learn the same.
- Knowledge of Risk Controls in cost recording and reporting.
