Role/Title : Windows Exchange Admin - SME

Experience: 8 - 14 years

Work Location: Hyderabad / Bhimavaram

Responsibilities:

- Should have 8+ years of relevant experience working with Windows OS, Exchange Server and Office 365

- Should have experience working with multiple customer's environment

- Preferably should have been working in a Managed Service Provide environment supporting multiple client's infrastructure

- Strong Windows Operating System troubleshooting skill

- Installing, Configuring and Managing Active Directory / DHCP / DNS / Exchange Server.

- Knowledge on Backup/Restore process

- Patching Servers using WSUS or any other third party tools

- Should have hands on experience with installing, configuring and managing VMware ESX servers

- Troubleshoot unexpected reboots, BSOD, Low Disk space, High CPU and Windows Server performance issues

- Experience of using tools for Incident management, change management, Problem management

- Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, 2013 and 2016 concepts, email flow, Mailbox administration and troubleshooting, mailbox restoration/recovery, NDR troubleshooting, Conference room and calendar troubleshooting, Distribution list creation and troubleshooting

- Good written and verbal communication skill. Should have attention to details

Knowledge on Technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server, DHCP, DNS, File Servers, Print Servers, RDS Servers, ADFS, ADCS, Windows Failover Cluster, Windows Network Load Balancer

- In-depth understanding and working knowledge of various versions of MS Exchange 2010/ 2013/2016 and Office 365

- Deep understanding of Exchange 2010 & 2013 hybrid architecture and migration experience from on-premises exchange 2010 message system to Office 365

- In-depth knowledge of various features and configurations available in Exchange 2010/2013/2016

- Knowledge and Troubleshooting abilities on Roles and Services of Exchange 2010, High availability (DAG), Public Folder Management, Messaging Policies and Compliance, Configuring Reporting and Logging, Permissions and Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Transport Rules

- Good understanding and work experience of Anti-Spam and Anti-virus applications and products like various email gateways, IronPort, proof point, Exchange online protection

- Knowledge of Exchange Shell, VBS and Windows PowerShell scripting

- Good understanding of DNS, E-Mail Routing, Email Tracking, SMTP / application Mail Relay, Backup and Restore, Disaster Recovery concepts - Single item, single mailbox, Exchange Server, Exchange Site

- Expert-level knowledge Office 365 email administration

- Strong knowledge on Public Folder Migration in Exchange 2010

- Able to troubleshoot mail flow issues and client connectivity issues

- Experience with supporting Outlook, OWA and mobile messaging

- Knowledge in email white listing/blacklisting and spam filtering

- Message tracking and troubleshooting to resolve mail delivery issues

- Hands on experience with Office365 Licensing, working with Exchange Online Protection (EOP), Exchange 2010 to Office365 mailbox migration and vice versa, troubleshooting all types of user mailbox issues

- Good understanding of all migration processes - Cut Over, Staged and Hybrid configuration

- Able to analyze exchange environment and provide recommendations

- Manage issues related to Auto discover / Outlook connectivity / OWA / ActiveSync / Mailbox Store / MRM / Public folders / EWS / Free-Busy / Mail routing / SMTP relay / Recipient configuration / e- discovery/Discovery

- Supporting DAG, CAS, OWA, RPC/HTTPS, and Active Sync Configuration, DNS, Message Trace Tools, MX and SPF Records, Block Lists, SPAM, Email Filtering and Virus Protection

- Proficient in Configuration of Exchange Policies, Transport rules and Connectors, Message tracking and troubleshooting to resolve mail delivery issues

- Should be willing to learn new technologies. Keep systems and applications up to date with latest versions

Requirement:





- Minimum 8 years of Microsoft Exchange Engineer and support experience

- High level troubleshooting capabilities with technologies listed above

- Experience supporting large scale projects, migrations, implementations etc

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Bachelor's degree in information technologies preferred

- Relevant certification such as MCP are preferred
