What you'll do :

- Evaluate new technologies related to end-user computing for use in the corporate enterprise to enable our knowledge workers.

- Develop standard work environments on company-owned devices to ensure usability, performance and security requirements are maintained.

- Automate end-user support activities to include packaging of software and scripting of support tasks.

- Create and maintain company standard PC image ensuring it meets usability, performance and security requirements.

- Automate service desk and desktop support tasks using various scripting languages (VB, PowerShell)

- Assist with packaging all Gartner owned software for deployment via Enterprise distribution methods using Microsoft Endpoint Manager/System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

- Administration of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) to include reporting.

- Evaluate and assess viability of end-user technology.

What you'll need : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Essential Functions :

- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/ Microsoft Endpoint Manager

- 4+ years of experience with the Automation of tasks using various scripting languages (PowerShell) to better support the service desk and desktop support

- 2+ years of experience with Windows Patching using WSUSSCCM, Software Update Groups (SUG), and Automatic Deployment Rules (ADR), 3rd party patchin.

Ideally candidates will have experience in :
 
- Modern Windows Device Management - Intune, Autopilot

- Hybrid Active Directory, Azure Active Directory

- Microsoft Azure

Additional areas of expertise are a plus :

- Application packaging

- Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Active Directory Users and Computers

- Operating System Deployment (OSD) and In-place Upgrade Task

- PowerBI and reporting

- Group Policy

- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10

- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Office Configuration Manager

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Excellent problem solving/analytical skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-pace dynamic environment

- Must be able to multi-task, change direction, set priorities, and meet deadlines
