Role Description :

The Technical architect will be a business application-focused solution architect who leads successful implementations and focuses on how solutions address the broader business and technical needs of organizations. The appointee will play a key role in the overall project team. A key task of the technical architect will be solution envisioning where problem identification and developing a solution using Dynamics 365 apps and Power Platform or Microsoft Azure.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Daily role on a customer project will vary but involve the following activities:

- Presales - Handle (RFP) responses, participate in introductory customer meetings, build proof of concepts /demos, and solution envisioning for customer problems.

- Initiation- Helping the project manager staff the project team and find the right mix of resources to complete the work. Put in place the methodology, life-cycle management, and other key project items.

- Analysis/Design- Conduct customer workshops, validate and clarify requirements, design high-level architecture, detail solution design work, review technical designs and drive change management.

- Implementation- Help project managers in ensuring teams continue with the specified plan and architecture and implementation is meeting the architecture and customer's needs. Be instrumental in problem solving and work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure that the testing that is performed exercises all parts of the architecture, including disaster recovery and performance testing. Drive change management to manage the changing scope of the project.

- Delivery- Helping the team build the deployment team and validate the plan. Also, deal with problems that arise during deployment and advising the business on a go/no-go decision.

- Operation- Deal with enhancements that need designing or bugs that needs fixing.

- Performance and scalability- Match resource capacity to demand.

- Efficiency and operations- Identifying inefficiency and waste in cloud spending and design a good monitoring architecture in place so that you can detect failures and problems before they happen or, at a minimum.

- Shared responsibility- Share responsibility with the cloud provider who will manage certain aspects of your application, leaving you with the remaining responses

- Design choices- Determine the acceptable trade-offs between money, time to deliver, or operational agility for designing solutions.
