Cloud Ops Engineering Specialist - Office 365/Active Directory (5-8 yrs) (Eduthrill)

Role :

Digital Workplace email team & service fall within the Productivity & Collaboration portfolio, developing & supporting email services globally, spanning a hybrid infrastructure of on-premise & cloud-based services with extremely high availability & performance requirements. The team of platform engineers operates & manages the company-wide email service supporting a global organization at scale of around 100,000 mailboxes.

Required Criteria :
 
- Supporting & configuring Exchange 2016+ (Hybrid & Online)/Active Directory/Office 365/AAD Connect

- Delivering & supporting complex Email architectures, & specific bespoke solutions SMTP mail flow - understanding EOP & SMTP application gateways

- DNS - MX, A, PTR, SPF, DKIM & DMARC records

- PowerShell Scripting knowledge, using scripting to automate processes.

- ITSM - knowledge & use of Service management toolsets such as ServiceNow

- Exchange RBAC model & delegation rights including Azure application delivery, (EWS & Graph API delegation & direct permissions models)

- Office 365 admin settings for Exchange, Directory Synchronization, MIM & the road map

- Identity management solutions

- Brokerage solutions for O365 & Azure, incl. abstraction layers for automation

Preferred Criteria :

- MS 365 certifications or relevant

- Exposure to adjacent domains such as platforms, storage, databases

- DevOps practices & techniques (Value Stream Mapping, Lean, flow, eliminating waste)

- Modern approaches to source-code management & control through tools such as Azure DevOps & Git/GitHub

- Modern development methodologies (Agile using Scrum &/or Kanban)

- Data Platform Delivery & Management

- Availability, Capacity & Emerging Technology Management

- Programming/Software Development

- Release & Deployment

- Requirements Definition & Management

- Service Operations

- Systems Design, Installation & Decommissioning
