Bravvura - IT Infrastructure Manager - Cloud Server (5-10 yrs) (Bravvura Digital Private limited)

Description:

The role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the design, installation, and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT assets & cloud servers. This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network hardware, software, and communication links and to ensure IT security protocols related to AWS/Cloud Servers. This role is also responsible for telephone, Dialer, security systems and other electronic infrastructure required time to time for smooth business operations.

Skills:

- AWS Certified

- Exp. In managing & handing Cloud Servers specially AWS

- Exp. in database servers & optimization (SQL/MySQL, Firebase etc.)

- Exp. In continuous integration & deployment

- Able to handle high traffic Website/Apps

- Exp. in cloud server optimization specifically LAMP environment, CDN, Load balancing, Varnish, Redis, Search Engines etc.

- Exp. in managing Email Servers (Gmail/Office 365 etc.)

- Exp. in Server security & backup

- Able to manage 24x7x365 server uptime

- Exp. in GIT

- Exp in IT Equipment & vendor management, Firewalls & remote setups

Knowledge & Experience :

1. 5+ years project experience deploying cloud solutions (Azure or AWS)

2. 5+ years architecting and implementing Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services infrastructure and topologies

3. Project experience implementing core infrastructure, networking and cloud based services for business teams or consumers

4. Deep product knowledge and understanding of product features including: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Automation and DevOps Ansible, Puppet, Chef Docker Virtualization, Vmware, Citrix Experience configuring and tuning virtual private clouds Experience with Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), SAML, web Single Sign - on (SSO), OAuth and related authentication technologies Transport Layer Security / SSL principles and management Experience with networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies)

5. Practical experience sizing hardware and storage needs and server performance optimization.

6. 5-7 years of experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.

7. Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.

8. 2 years successful leadership of an infrastructure team.

9. Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group Policies, MS Office365, MS Exchange, Core Switching/Routing, SSL/IPSec, SAN, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery.

10. Conversant with programming languages & eCommerce Technologies.

11. Experience in interpreting the applicability of local and federal laws/regulations (including data privacy practices and laws) to company operations.

12. Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, and so on.

13. Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements.

2. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use.

3. Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation.

4. Establish service level agreements with end users.

5. Provides - ownership- of problem thru final resolution.

6. Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization's network.

7. Conduct research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.

8. Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for IT projects and associated efforts.

9. Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.

10. Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.

11. Assess, approve, and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.

12. Manage and ensure effectiveness of servers, including e-mail, print, and backup servers, and their associated operating systems and software. Responsible for on-site and off-site data centres.

13. Manage and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, UPSs, and so on.

14. Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.

15. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent network activities.

16. Manage operational costs; conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.

17. Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure.

18. Test server performance and provide network performance statistics and reports; develop strategies for maintaining server infrastructure.

19. Oversee the administration of user accounts, permissions, and access rights in AD.

20. Direct and administrate a contingent of network analysts and technicians, and where necessary, conduct performance reviews and corrective action.
