Position: IT Security Manager (Cyber Security)

Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company

Location: Hyderabad

Salary Budget: Rs. 15 lakhs

Responsibilities

- Implement the cybersecurity best practices to protect organisation systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction Actively monitor network traffic for suspicious behaviour.

- Proactively leverage security tools to scan and assess the network for vulnerabilities.

- Perform vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying and defending against threats.

- Contribute to and maintain documentation for systems, processes, procedures, and infrastructure configurations.

- Configure security systems, analyse security requirements, and recommend improvements.

- Write up security policies and training documents about security procedures.

- Implement network security policies, application security, access control and corporate data safeguards.

- Develop and update business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.

- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all servers, systems, and key processes.

- Provide training to staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice.

Requirements

- At least 10-12 years of experience as systems or network administrator, with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in cybersecurity.

- A strong understanding of firewall technologies (Sonicwall)

- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, including protocols, operating systems, and networks.

- Intermediate to expert intrusion detection system/intrusion prevention system knowledge

- Experience with Microsoft 365.

- Excellent teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills

- Any security certification is must.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
