Sharepoint Administrator (3-6 yrs) (CliqHR)

Roles And Responsibilities : 


- Share point Admin Support configure administer and develop the SharePoint environments including excellent knowledge on SharePoint Online Maintain and administer SharePoint services including search content hub and excel user profile managed metadata

- Experience with SharePoint 2013 2016 Online fundamentals including out of the box web parts lists content types workflows templates Understanding of SharePoint administration including management of server farms web applications site collections web sites service applications solution deployment and backup restore via Central Administration

- Experience in using SharePoint Designer Must have done the migration from one version of SharePoint to other using third party tools like Sharegate Metalogix DocAve

- Knowledge on SharePoint tenant to tenant SharePoint On Prem to SharePoint Online Migration Ability to implement SharePoint governance on sites libraries and lists

- Excellent troubleshooting skills on server side site collections and workflows Installation and configuration of SharePoint create web application site collections using PowerShell Ability to write PowerShell scripts and capability of doing the automation of the repetitive tasks

SharePoint Administrator Responsibilities :

- Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and creating libraries.

- Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.

- Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet.

- Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.

- Providing SharePoint support and end-user training.

- Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.

- Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.

- Reviewing usage and activity reports and making adjustments to ensure optimized user-experiences.

- Maintaining network infrastructure, as well as managing encryption, security zones, and firewalls.

- Keeping up to date with SharePoint developments and performing version updates and upgrades.

SharePoint Administrator Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar.

- At least 2 years' experience as a SharePoint administrator.

- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.

- Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.

- Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Monitors SharePoint software for any glitches or problems.

- Troubleshoots issues promptly.

- Delegates work to SharePoint developers.

- Oversees activity pertaining to the maintenance of SharePoint.

- Manages and revises the layout of the site.

- Customizes SharePoint site for company purposes.

- Analyzes daily user activity on SharePoint.

- Maintains records of SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activity.

- Reports to company management with updates and information about SharePoint use.

- Provides technical support for SharePoint users.

- Addresses questions or concerns from business owners or directors regarding the function of the software.

- Keeps apprised of Microsoft updates to SharePoint software.

- Applies updates to company's edition of SharePoint as necessary.

- Maintains SharePoint firewalls and security.

- Holds training and informational sessions to teach employees how to use SharePoint.

- Consults with management to devise the most useful ways to apply SharePoint to a business's goals.

- Attends IT conferences to learn about new software developments.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

- Demonstrates specific knowledge of the function and makeup of Microsoft SharePoint.

- Is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Servers.
