Ecolab Digital Center - PowerApps Developer - Microsoft Technologies (2-5 yrs) (Ecolab Digital Center)

Main Responsibilities :

- Development of applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and the Microsoft suite of technologies including but not limited to MS PowerApps, MS Power BI, MS Power Automate, MS Power Agents to unlock the potential of MS SharePoint, MS Dynamics 365 & AI.

- Development within & leverage of integration technologies, including SQL Server & Kingswaysoft to connect internal & third-party systems.

- Recognize synergies & functionality across multiple technologies, and leverage them as appropriate

- Review and analyze business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates

- Create technical documents for software products using Visio, PowerPoint, Word and other MS Office applications.

- Participate in the Scrum process as a developer, with activities including: Sprint Planning and Estimating sessions, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Demos and Sprint retrospectives.

- Translating technical requirements into application code and modules

- Making modifications to existing applications and modules in accordance with written user stories

- Unit testing and working closely with the QA/Testing team.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion, communicating updates as determined until issue is resolved

- Work closely with team to help identify root cause and implement solutions to reduce recurring defects and issues

- Taking part in code reviews and reviewing the work of colleagues

- Work with developers to maintain a standard release plan, including code check in processes & solution management

Basic Qualifications :

- 6+ years- experience working in an IT environment

- 4+ years- experience as a software developer

- 3+ years- experience as a software developer using one or more of the following development languages (C#, .NET, JavaScript)

- Experience with the Microsoft suite of tools, especially with MS Power Platform and MS Power App.

- 2+ years- experience using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops

- 2+ years- experience using Microsoft Visual Studio

- 2+ years- experience using Microsoft SQL Server

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical area or equivalent.

- Experience working in a multi-technology environment is a plus

- Experience developing for a mobile experience

- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, SQL Server Integration Services, ASP.net, client-side JavaScript frameworks, Xamarin, and KingswaySoft is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of a variety of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and an understanding as to when each of these approaches is most suitable

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience of working in a methodical and structured manner.

- Excellent communication skills: presentation, written, and oral.

- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully team with software vendors, outsourcing partners and internal business and IT associates.

- Must be able to perform as an effective member in a team-oriented environment, maintain a positive attitude, and achieve desired results while working with minimal supervision

- Enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies, and passion for conveying knowledge
