MoreYeahs - System Administrator - Active Directory/IT Disaster Recovery (3-6 yrs) (MoreYeahs Inc.)

We are looking for a System Administrator with at least 3 years of experience.

Potential candidate must have worked in following areas:

Office 365 Administration :

- Support the messaging environment in the Cloud (Office 365).

- Review, test, and make recommendations for standard email practices.

- Experience with supporting anti-spam filtering, logging and email tracking and transport rules.

- Perform scripting administration tasks and reporting using PowerShell.

- Help ensure team performance meets or exceeds defined Service Level Agreements

- Troubleshoot active sync issues with mobile devices.

- Troubleshoot issues with Skype for Business

- Maintain Active Directory services 2016 and Exchange O365

- Managing Users, Groups and Computer accounts for the BD Clients.

- Managed Group Policy Objects (GPOs) throughout the Active Directory (AD) enterprise Maintained and managed Domain Name Service (DNS) for client o Created and maintained email addresses and distribution lists in MS Exchange.

- Automated and executed Office 365 procedures utilizing Windows PowerShell

- Query Exchange environment using the Office 365 Command online tool

IT Infrastructure

- Leading the team of technical professionals during the development stages.

- Assist in defining SLA's for the IT department to match the organization's strategic goals. Managing IP allocation and ensuring minimal downtime of machines.

- Plan for environment growth and performance needs.

- Working Knowledge of Google Suite.

- Installing and configuring the hardware/ software/ mail servers, ensuring optimal performance.

- Technical Support/ Troubleshooting

- Conducting periodic reviews with the customer and analyzing calls and their trends to take proactive measures to reduce knowledge-based calls.

- Suggesting improvements in the operations and processes make the system foolproof.

- Install and configure roles and services such as IIS, AD, Clustering, etc.

- Investigate performance issues & Refer to error logs to investigate and resolve the issues.

- Maintain legacy operating systems supporting legacy products.

- Policy Management for individual users, Group users, and entire organization through Active Directory in Windows 2003, 2008 R2, 2012R2 & 2016.

Microsoft Network

- Knowledge of Implementation of Active Directory, Domain Controller, MS Exchange Server, SPS, MSDCRM.

- Implementation and performance tuning of Windows 2008/2012 Server environment for client's operations.

- ADS like - creating child domain, OU- s, replication, creating and maintaining user accounts- .

- Managed systems configuration and maintenance, problem troubleshooting, system and program security.

- Managed Applications and program management, planning and directing upgrades, and testing operations to ensure optimum system functionality.

System/Networking:

- Complete understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP.

- DNS, DHCP, SNMP, Load Balancing, MRTG, IPTraf, TCPDUMP etc.

Security:

- Secure internet services, with squid Proxy and IPtables firewall.

- Security Policy Designing, Implementation

- Firewalls (IPtables, Netgear, IP Filter, Fortinet)

- LAN/WAN security, Network/Host Security Auditing, Vulnerability Scanning (Nessus).

Primary backup administrator

- Redesign the backup infrastructure to mitigate all recovery problems and reached a 100% successful restore rate over a 12-month time-frame.

- Ensure successful completion of all Symantec Backup Exec and NetBackup jobs.

- Provide granular restore of emails, SharePoint items, and SQL databases.

- Create new backup jobs and policies, rotate backup tapes daily & Restore files and systems as needed.

- Maintain licensing compliance.

- Design new backup platforms for infrastructure growth, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

- Perform random test restores monthly to ensure backup and restore capabilities are functioning properly.

Software:

- Apache, IIS, Nginx with HTTP/HTTPS Support. o DNS (BIND 8/9), MS Domain, POP, IMAP, IMAP, SMTP Protocols.

- Mail Services (Postfix, Qmail, Zimbra, Postfix, MS Exchange 2007&2010) o Antivirus Packages (Symantec Endpoint Protection, Trend Micro PC-cillin )

- X Window System (configuring servers, desktops, application servers, XDM)
