Qubit AI - DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes (1-3 yrs) (Qubit AI)

Position Summary :

- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.

- Understanding the need of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.

- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.

- Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results.

- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and - fixes-

- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

Role Description :

- Implement integrations requested by customers

- Deploy updates and fixes

- Provide Level 2 technical support

- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience

- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems

- Perform root cause analysis for production errors

- Investigate and resolve technical issues

- Develop scripts to automate visualization

- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Technical skills/competencies required :

- Hands on knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Built and deploy Docker containers for implementing Microservice Architecture.

- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using tools like GoCD & Jenkins.

- Responsible for server management on AWS.

- Experience with AWS -including but not limited to Ec2, s3, RDS, Route53, VPC, Cloud watch, ELB, NAT, ElastiCache, IAM.

- Complete knowledge on configuration management tools like Ansible.

- Creating Monitoring and alerting for application using Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana stack.

- Managing Bitbucket and GitHub repos.

- Administering Microsoft 365.

- Experience with server-side technologies such as Nginx.

- Sound experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS & Amazon EC2) administration.

- Basic knowledge about shell scripting languages like Bash.

- Postgres & MySQL Database management.
