System Administrator - Backup & Support (4-8 yrs) (D4Insight)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

a) 4-5 years of relevant work experience as a systems administrator/engineer

b) Experience of the following :

- Office 365

- SharePoint

- OneDrive

- Symantec Net Backup, Veeam backup

- Hyper-V

- Windows Server 2012, 2016

- EMC Unity

- HP 3PAR

- HP Servers.

c) Provide day-to-day operational support, including responding to incidents, service requests, and tasks

d) Identify any gap in the operational support and suggest corrective actions

e) Ensure maximum availability, service hours coverage, and skills effectiveness

f) Maximize Systems performance by monitoring the infrastructure, identifying and resolving bottleneck, troubleshooting problems/outages, and suggesting improvements

g) Manage and prioritize multiple assigned tasks to meet established deadlines

h) Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

i) Support other teams for performance/ availability issues

j) Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues

k) Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

l) Create a healthy interpersonal and team-oriented environment
